This is a new WordPress CMS for Australian based distributor.
This is a technical website aimed not at the end user but at retailers in the channel. The home page has been designed so that it is very clear what the 4 product categories are and all their products are listed on the website. All the information on the product pages had to be 100% accurate, so extra care and double checking content was imperative.
In addition to the product pages, most products have technical specification pdf’s and brochures for download. Software for some of their products are also available for download on the website. The admin area has a fully integrated downloads manager where PSS can upload new pdf’s or zip files and make them available on the website for download. The download manager also tracks every download so that they can better assess what the market place is doing and what products it is interested in.
On their request, I included a javascript calculator which works out the VA output of general office equipment and based on that figure, it suggests a suitable UPS.
There is also a cabinet and rack selector which lists all the different rack options and their accessories which can be selected and emailed to the user with the option of requesting a quote from the PSS Sales team.
Google Analytics tracking has been added to the website and weekly reports are sent to the owner. The site was also submitted to Google Webmaster Tools.
I was blown away by the standard of work and how much effort was delivered by Jolene creating and constructing our new web site. Her technical ability to produce such an intricate website impressed customer, staff and it has overall been well compliment.
